Refund & Cancellation Policy

When a website order, hosting, a domain, the Website Chatbot or an AI Website Builder top-up bought on correctwire.com can be cancelled, and how a refund is paid.

You can cancel a website order and have your money back until we start building it. Once the build has started, what you have paid covers the work done, and you owe nothing more. A domain, once registered, cannot be refunded; the first year of hosting can, until the website goes live. Every refund goes back to the payment method you paid with.

This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions. Work ordered through a written quotation follows the payment and cancellation terms in that quotation; where the quotation is silent, this policy applies.

Before the build starts — cancel at any time before we have begun work on your content, and every payment on the order is refunded in full, less the payment gateway's charges, which the gateway does not return. A domain already registered for you is the one exception (see below).

After the build has started, before the preview — what you have paid is retained up to half of the one-time charges, as payment for the design and build work done; anything above that is refunded, and the rest of the balance is not charged.

After the preview has been shared — one-time charges are not refundable. Nothing further is charged if you stop there, but the website is not delivered until the order is paid.

After go-live — one-time charges are not refundable. If something does not work as described, we fix it free of charge for 30 days after go-live; if we cannot fix it, we refund the price of that item.

If we cancel — if we cannot build what you ordered, we tell you and refund everything you have paid for it in full.

Domain — refunded in full if we have not yet registered it. Once registered it cannot be refunded — registrars do not allow it — but the name is yours for the year paid, and on request we transfer its control to you.

Hosting, first year — refunded in full if the order is cancelled before the website goes live; not refunded after go-live.

Renewals — a renewal paid for a year that has not yet begun is refunded in full if you ask before that year starts; a year that has begun is not refunded.

Not renewing — there is nothing to cancel — simply do not pay the renewal. The website is taken offline 15 days after the due date, and your content is kept for 30 days more so it can be exported.

Refunded in full within 7 days of purchase if the chatbot has answered no visitor messages, or at any time in those 7 days if it does not work on your website as described and we cannot make it work.
